What data we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you fill in our contact or quote form, call us or email us. This usually includes your name, phone number, email address, property address and details of the roofing work you need. Our website also collects limited technical data through cookies (see below).
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, provide a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and on legal obligations (for example, keeping records for tax purposes). We do not sell your data or send you marketing you have not asked for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally deleted within 12 months. Records for customers we carry out work for are kept for up to 6 years after the job is completed, to meet accounting, tax and guarantee requirements.
Who we share it with
We only share your data where necessary with trusted providers who help us run our business, such as our website hosting and email providers, and our accountants. They may only use it on our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law.
